The Colored Pencil
Society of America, Inc. (CPSA) is a national non-profit organization
to:
- Promote the stature and awareness of colored pencil art as a viable
art form to all professional art establishments and to the general
public;
- Provide a forum for education, communication and recognition of
colored pencil artists.
District Chapter 109 was established as a local chapter of CPSA in the
metropolitan Washington, DC area. We promote the goals of the national
organization by:
- Meeting six times a year for educational programs, draw-ins, informal
critiques, and fun;
- Publishing a newsletter six times a year;
- Hosting both juried and non-juried exhibits of colored pencil artwork;
- Maintaining this web site;
- Participating in the annual international CPSA exhibition and conference.
